Vacational Facilities

Weekends, evening and during vacation periods, our range of conference facilities are enhanced with the addition of four lecture theatres with capacities from 100 to 300 together with an array of academic classrooms and social space; all greatly increasing our conference capability.

A £3.1 million refurbishment and improvement plan, completion in Summer 2008, has seen all 4 of our Lecture theatres on campus revamped to provide state of the art facilities. Completely rebuilt, everything in the theatres has been replaced from the flooring to the lighting. This includes the provision of a fully climate controlled environment and the installation of
power at every seat. New AV equipment has been installed which allows sophisticated presentations to be delivered using dual, side by side, high-resolution projection systems. Each theatre is capable of making use of a wide range of different media types and features an easy to use touch-screen auditorium control system.

Catering opening hours

Due to very limited number of outlets are available over the busy summer period and guests are strongly advised to check prior to arrival for latest availability and opening times with our main reception on 0131 451 3669

Middle Floor

Mon – Fri: Breakfast   7.30 am until 10.00am
Lunch: 11.45am until  2.00pm
Dinner: 5.00pm until 8.00pm

Sat & Sun: 7.30am until 8.00pm serving meals as above and snack/drinks in between meal times.
