HEART UK – The Cholesterol Charity, held its 24th annual conference at the Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot-Watt University in July 2010.

As conference organiser to HEART UK, I found the team at the University including the conference office, audio visual, caterers and porters to be professional, punctual and friendly.

No request was too much and was achieved in a fast and efficient manner. Rooms were re-set within good time and everyone worked hard to deliver a first class event.

Heriot-Watt University is a first-rate conference facility and I enjoyed working with such a professional and friendly team. It really does make all the difference which allowed Wheldon Events to focus on the client and delegates needs.

“I structure my workshops using creative music as a medium to concentrate on team building, role playing and processing ideas. For this event we invited children and friends of staff at Heriot-Watt University to use old car parts and other bits of junk to create music through power drumming.

“It’s never easy organising events for children but Lynne Geary and her team made sure everything was set up to suit their needs and that the day ran smoothly.

“I have used the Edinburgh Conference Centre on a number of occasions to host my workshops and have always found the experience stress-free and, indeed, hugely enjoyable.
