Lecture Theatre
Available in evenings, weekends and during vacation time, our newly refurbished theatres 1, 2, 3 have undergone extensive upgrading offering the very latest in audio-visual technology within a bright environment. These venues can be linked to our James Watt I Auditorium.
A £3.1 million refurbishment and improvement plan, completion in Summer 2008, has seen all 4 of our Lecture theatres on campus revamped to provide state of the art facilities. Completely rebuilt, everything in the theatres has been replaced from the flooring to the lighting. This includes the provision of a fully climate controlled environment and the installation of
power at every seat. New AV equipment has been installed which allows sophisticated presentations to be delivered using dual, side by side, high-resolution projection systems. Each theatre is capable of making
use of a wide range of different media types and features an easy to use touch-screen auditorium control system.
